Church Opening for Holy Mass

THE CHURCH IS OPENING !

The Bishop is allowing Churches to open for the celebration of the Holy Mass beginning on Monday, May 18th and moving forward. We will be following the guidelines as outlined by the Diocese of Venice.

Daily Mass will be at  8AM in the Church Monday - Saturday.

  • The church will open for daily Mass at 7:15 am and will remain open for private prayer Monday-Friday until 10AM.

Confession will follow the 8AM Mass on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday while maintaining social distance guidelines.

Weekend Mass will begin on Saturday, May 23rd at 4PM and Sunday, May 25th  at 8:30AM and 11AM.

  • The church will be open 45 minutes before Mass. There may be a short delay opening for the 11AM Mass depending on the completion of cleaning after the 8:30 Mass.

There will not be a 7:30AM or 5PM Mass at this time.

We will be limiting the size of the congregation to 25% occupancy, maintaining social distancing guidelines, asking parishioners to wear their own face mask  as well as providing and using their own hand sanitizer. Parishioners are asked to receive Communion in the hand at this time.

The Daily Mass at 8AM and Sunday Mass at 11AM will be streamed live on Facebook live.

Adoration will be scheduled in the Church and will begin the week of May 25th. Stay tuned for more information on dates and times.

Parishioners that are at greater risk or anxious about returning are reminded that the dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass remains in effect until June 28, 2020.

The staff at Our Lady of the Angels is currently working diligently on procedures and protocols for the opening of our church.  We seek your cooperation and ask for your patience as we work through the process to ensure the safety of all.

Communion will be distributed at Church this Sunday, May 17th from 11AM - 12:30PM.

Since the current schedule allows for only 25% of capacity, communion needs to still be distributed after the 11am Sunday Mass'!!
