Catholic School Financial Aid Information

We rejoice in your decision to educate your child(ren) in the Catholic Faith.

To be eligible for parish financial aid, families must be registered parishioners of Our Lady of the Angels for at least six months prior to application for financial aid and actively using parish envelopes.

School Verification If the school requests proof of parish registration, please bring their certification form to the Parish Front Office. We will confirm your registration date. Please note: financial aid cannot be awarded at the time of verification; you must complete the school’s financial aid process which you must initiate through the school.

School Financial Aid Process When enrolling your child(ren), the school will provide a financial aid application (currently FACTS). Once you have submitted the FACTS application, the school will determine available State of Florida funding along with school grants, and scholarships. They will also ask what amount your family can contribute per child.

After all applications are reviewed, the school sends a summary of financial needs to our Business Manager. The Pastor along with others who advise him on financial aid awards will assess the needs based on available funds.

Parish Requirements for Aid In addition to six months of registration:

• Families must use assigned parish envelopes weekly so we can verify Mass attendance, an essential part of your child’s faith formation.
• At least one parent must participate in a parish ministry. You will receive a letter with your child’s award amount and instructions to report your chosen ministry.

Financial aid is paid directly to the school in your child’s name, in two equal payments: August and January.
