Becoming Catholic OCIA

Becoming Catholic OCIA (formerly R.C.I.A.)

OCIA – Order of Christian Initiation of Adults

OCIA is designed to welcome new members into the Church and at the same time to lead every Catholic parishioner to deeper belief and renewal of his or her Christian faith.

OCIA is for:

  • People of other traditions interested in learning more about the experience of the Catholic faith and tradition, with or without the intention of joining the Church
  • Baptized Catholics who were not taught the faith as a child and are returning to the Church, desiring to prepare for Confirmation and/or Eucharist
  • Fully initiated and practicing Catholics wishing to grow in their faith by sharing that faith by sponsoring a catechumen or candidate
  • For questions or more information concerning our OCIA program, please feel free to contact the Director of Faith Formation.
