“Welcome” is a transformative weekend experience available to every adult female (age 19+) from Our Lady of the Angels parish. This renewal weekend is designed to provide a profound spiritual rejuvenation and foster a strong sense of Christian Community, where you’ll discover personal renewal and abundant joy.
Formerly known as “Christ Renews His Parish” (CRHP), the Welcome Renewal Weekend serves as a unifying process for our parish. It consists of two gifts. First, we offer the gift of the weekend itself, where you step away from your daily routine to engage in listening, sharing, prayer fun, and food! The second gift is the renewed spirit you bring back into your everyday life, impacting those around you.
The “Welcome” renewal weekend is thoughtfully organized by a dedicated team of parishioners - the Giving Team – supported by a Priest/Deacon and other volunteers. Their collective effort is tailored to create this unique gift just for you. At its heart, this experience is dedicated to personal and communal rejuvenation. The essence of the process lies in the heartfelt exchange of God’s love among team members and in table discussions in a peaceful, welcoming environment. There is never pressure on you to speak or share; your comfort and individual needs will always be treated with the utmost respect.
“Welcome” gently ushers God’s message of love, providing a serene atmosphere to respond to Christ’s call for a deeper and closer relationship with Him and fellow members of our parish. This two-day journey at Our Lady of the Angels begins at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and concludes around 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Sacraments play a significant role in the weekend, with reconciliation available followed by a celebration of Mass. All meals are thoughtfully prepared, and any special dietary or other requirements will be accommodated. The entire weekend is informal; we encourage casual and comfortable clothing.

Can you afford this weekend? Absolutely! While we aim for self-sustainability, please don't let financial concerns keep you away. A $50 donation helps offset the cost to the parish.
