Fr. Dave Pivonka, TOR, President of Franciscan University of Steubenville encouraged churches to hang white ribbons on the doors. These ribbons remind anyone who sees them that they are in the prayers of the clergy, staff and community; that they are missed and that God's promise in Isaiah 49:15 remains firm: "I will never forget you."

Our own signs of hope have been hung. We will leave them as a reminder of our prayers until we can gather together again to worship and receive Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
